Last week, just before I went off on my jollies, I had a very important date. I needed to meet up with Caroline, not only to discuss our impending getaway to Lindos, but also I had some big big news. Seated in the Garden Terrace, I began...
I’ve been working on a very exciting project, and finally it’s all falling into place. So much so, that I think it’s finally time I reveal all. So for anything that requires vast amounts of discussion, there is only one place; Long Bar at the Sanderson.
Don't you think all emetings should be over Golden Snow Vodka and Chambord?
I’ve always loved fashion- I see it as an avenue to experiment, and be myself and so when a friend put me in touch with his friend, Tina Lobondi, an extraordinary fashion designer, well one of my life’s dreams started to become a reality.
As I am so excited to tell you, that I me and Tina have collaborated to bring you our first capsule clothing collection!
It started over coffee and sketches, and now we have a 3 piece collection of the most luxurious summer designs.
You may have seen me hinting on Instagram lately…
So finally I can show you the finished product of the skirt. A gorgeous African printed full skirt. I wanted something that was summery, and yet could be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. I wore it on holiday with sandals, but imagine it with heels and a bralet. Very sexy.
My other designs are a gorgeous slinky dress, and a beautiful waterfall jacket, which are all in the final processes.
The designs are going to be on sale very soon with the skirt retailing at £65, which for a handmade skirt here in London is a steal.
However I am also reaching out to all you incredible fashion bloggers. I would love it if you would feature it in a outfit post. We can make any size, from 6 to 26 if desired as each in made to order. It would be so wonderful to receive your support, so if you would like to do an outfit post, please comment below with your email and I’ll contact you straight away.
I feel very fortunate in my life right now, and so of course me and Caroline just had to toast to the success of this new venture, and of course our Greek getaway with a round of cocktails.
A fig and blackberry cocktail, and a blood orange one sounded like the perfect was to start to evening. Different, adventurous- a bit like my new journey, eh?
Before swiftly moving on to round 2. Sweet, sharp, and delicious, hats off all round!
I think a little champagne was in order, or to be even more special, Bakewell Champagne - fresh raspberries shaken together with Disaronno and finished with Thienot NV Champagne. Mmmm.
Well if I'm going into to fashion, I should be practising my model pout. Ok maybe I wont be modelling anytime soon...
Talking of fashion, I had to bring these little beauties with me to the Sanderson. The Sanderson is famous for its eye chairs, so I thought I'd give them company.
Seeing as we were celebrating in London's most glamorous party hotel, it would be wrong to not treat myself to another drink.
Their cocktails are delicious- but do watch out for the wasabi peas- unless you like that sort of thing, it'll blow your head off. Waiter, I need another drink now!
As midnight draw in, we bid fair well to the most fun hotel in London and scurried home with excitement. I can not wait to be able to start selling to you, however if you would like to pre-order please comment below, and once again, calling all fashion bloggers, please get in contact if you would like to do an outfit post with my collection.
Non of this could have been possible without my blog, and my blog wouldn't be possible with out you guys- I love each and everyone of you! Thank you.
UPDATE: WHILE THE SHOP ISNT OPEN YET, I'VE BEEN HAVING SO MANY REQUESTS, IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BUY THE SKIRT, WE CAN MAKE TO ORDER FOR YOU NOW. PRICED £65, PLEASE EMAIL HEROINEINHEELS@GMAIL.COM :)
