I'd say when it comes to fashion I like the classics. I love pencil skirts and block colour tops.I tend to go simple on the outfit, and a little more zany on the accessories. That way whatever the occasion, you'll have something suitable.

For me, dressing for a date can be a little daunting. What if you are over dressed for the place, what if he's in a t-shirt and you've worn your most cleavage busting dress?  Luckily after over 1 and a half years of dating, it's a known fact that I'll always be more dressed up than my other half, but the date location could still throw me.

So that's why you can never go wrong with a little black dress and a few simple but quirky accessories.

You can't go wrong with a figure hugging stretch dress- and no it won't show off those 'lumps and bumps'. Midi length bodycon is subtle yet still a little sexy, as it highlights your shape without giving the while game away.

Pair it with what I call the statement clutch. It's a great way to add character to your outfit and clutches are so versatile for either day or night. For me I just fell a little in love with this Coast @ House of Fraser clutch. I mean come on now, it's fur AND leather!

Shoes: ASOS
Necklace: Zara (Similar)

So after a little prancing around in front of the camera, I headed off on my date. Neither over or under dressed. Perfect.

I'm no beauty blogger. Certainly not. I can't really tell you the advantages between CC cream and BB cream. Or whether you are a warm or cool toned person. However I get comments, and tweets asking me what eye shadow I'm wearing in a certain blog post, or what do I use to treat my hair. So I thought it would be nice to do a little more of a personal post, so you can get to know me a little more, rather than just the places I recommend.

So here are my latest and most loved beauty loves.

First my hair. My hair is quite massive and striking due to its ginger colour, so naturally most of my comments are about my hair.

I can't say I do anything too dark artsy to it, although I do like a good salon blow dry once every few weeks.

However lately I've been trying some new products and rather liking them a lot. My hair is naturally very frizzy and "fluffy" as my friend calls it, so John Frieda's Frizz Ease has been a staple for years.

However they've recently launched John Frieda Frizz Ease Smooth Forever range. It's made with coconut oil which is known for its nourishing and moisturizing qualities- seriously coconut oil instead of body lotion is the best thing I've done.

I love the shampoo and conditioner combo, as the conditioner especially is super creamy feels thick on my head, like it's really soaking in.

It's the Primer though that's a little beauty secret. A bit like a face primer, you put it on first before and styling products, and it helps smooth out your hair, and make any additional products work better, by giving them a smoother and more even surface. Think foundation primer but for your hair. It's genius.

For my skin care, I'll be honest, in the past I've been rather naughty. I've been a very basic wash, and wipe kind of girl. It's just effort! However I had a bit of a revelation and decided to invest. After wandering between counters, I settled on Clinique. I wanted their 3 Step Skin Care however for the 3 bottles its about £70.

Without knowing whether they would be any good, I didn't want to pay this price. However the geniuses at Clinique have created a 1 month kit. I use the 3 Step Introduction Kit Skin Type 2 which is for dry/combination. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now, and I have to say my skin does in fact glow more. It looks healthier, as one of my problems was I just had that dull/tired look about me.

Speaking of Clinique, please all hair the Chubby Stick Contour and Highlight duo. These are the bomb and you'll probably have seen me rave over them on twitter.

I've tried many contouring kits to try and get that defined cheekbone look, some cheaper and some more expensive, but these are the best I've used.

First day at work with me using them and I had two people say my face looked slimmer! Result!

Oh and I just happen to be giving a set away here

I've been searching for a new summer perfume for a while. I'm quite fussy, as for the day I like light, fruity fragrances that are a bit fun.  Nothing quite was what I wanted until I stumbled upon Les Delices de Nina by Nina Ricci. Fun, fruity with a hint of a careless flirt, its so sweet and sassy I just love it. Not one for those who like complex notes of this and that, but if you want to smell delicious, then this is your new summer love.

Ah Murad. I first discovered them years ago, and I've never looked back. They seriously rock in the skincare world, and now I love them for battling my blemishes.

Not a sexy bathroom product, but one we all must use otherwise it will be our faces looking unsexy.

I'm very lucky that I don't get too many spots, but my chin and around my nostrils will occasionally get clogged if I've been lazy on the old cleanse and tone. So when this happens I whip put this Murad Blemish Clearing Solution and in a couple of days its all clear!

Finally my everyday makeup base. My mascara changes regularly, and it's nothing special, but I think having the perfect base is essential. Not to shout my own praises, but I think I've found it.

I can't believe I only starting using primer a few months ago, It's now unmissable in my routine, my skin just glows so much more, and my makeup is smoother. Everything just looks healthier now thanks to Smashbox Photo Finish

However it can't take all the credit, as after years of searching I've found my perfect foundation. I've been using Perfection Lumiere by Chanel for about 18 months now and I haven't regretted it one bit. It may be pricier that any drug store foundation, but its worth it. Natural, smooth and the number one thing is that it doesn't slide off and lasts all day! It's a dream foundation in my eyes.

So there we have it. My current favorite beauty loves. Let me know if you like these and anything you think I should be trying.

I still find it strange how far this blog has come in its 2 and a bit years. From a random thought at University about wanting somewhere to just write about things that popped into my head and air my views, to this blog as it is today. A blog that has taken me to some amazing restaurants, incredible parties and even abroad. Never would I have thought it, ever!

But I would have no one to write to if I didn't have readers. You, my amazing, fantastical readers. I love being able to tell you about a great amazing brunch place that I think you'll love, or a quirky exhibition on in London. I get rather excited when I see your tweets and comments.

So I wanted to say thank you, by giving away a set of the incredible Clinique Chubby Stick Contour & Highlight. I have fell in love with them recently, and I think you will too.

*These are mine, I wanted to show you the inside. You will receive new, unopened chubby sticks.

Clinque Chubby Stick Contour & Highlight is the bomb. Now they only come in one shade which I thought was odd, but they blend into any skin tone, really well. I mean if I can do it, anyone can. My skin just glows with the highlighter too.

So I thought I'd make it really simple for you. All you have to do is follow and RT about the giveaway on Twitter. If you do it via the Rafflecopter box below, it will automatically log your entry and bam, your entered!

If you really want to win them, you can get extra entries by following me on Facebook, Instagram and Bloglovin. Nothing hard at all. All in the little gadget below

My final day on the Isles of Scilly had arrived. I had loved every moment of these enchanting islands. There is something quintessentially British there and yet something rather foreign too.

I wanted to leave with a bang- make the most of my time, and do something special to Scilly.

So that is how I found myself on a small rubber speed boat heading to St Martin's island to snorkel with seals.

I had never done anything like this before and to be quite honest, I was a little nervous as I had been told the seals were extremely friendly and come right up to you.

Now I've never seen a seal in real life before, but they look rather massive and heavy on TV?

But I've decided this year, I want to do more things, see the world and just have adventures. Do things out of my comfort zone, and live a little.

I don't know where my life's going to go, and so I just want to be able to say I had a blast.

We arrived at the Scilly Seal Snorkeling hut on St Martin's and told to put on a full wet suit and get ready to go.

How bloomin' difficult is putting on a wet suit? Jesus Christ it took me forever, I swear it was never going to fit me. I was worn out by the time 3 of us had managed to hoist it over my boobs.

Looking oh so sexy eh?

So all suited up, there was only one thing left to do. Back in the boat and around to the rocky deserted part of the island to find us some seals.

Now sadly I couldn't take my camera with me as on a tiny little speed boat it would have got soaked and utterly ruined. Nor did I have an underwater camera.

However luckily the official photographer emailed me some, so all credit for the seal photographs goes to Tim Allsop.

Getting into the sea was utterly freezing, and a very strange experience. The waves were powerful and it made it hard to try and swim.

I won't lie, at first I was a little panicky, however once your in for a while, you start to find a natural bob and rhythm.

It's then that once you start relaxing that the seals start to come to you, and what an sight that is

They are almost like dogs. Playful, curious and actually rather cute. It still freaked me out when I turned around and one was right behind me staring!

It really was an amazing experience. To say I swam with seals is pretty cool.

Plus I was proud of myself, doing something out of my comfort zone.

It really was a great way to finish my Scilly adventure off.

Once we got back to dry land and warmed up with mugs of lemon tea and kit kats, I decided to go explore St Martin's briefly before I had to catch my flight.

St Martin's is the second largest island of Scilly, but it is still very remote, although of course utterly breathtaking.

My belly was growling at me, reminding me it was feeding time. I wandered a bit, but I couldn't seem to find anything remotely cafe like- barely house like!

But then after what felt like a rather long time, I found a sign that said a bakery of up ahead. Ahhh fresh baked goods is what my heart desires!

Cute as a button, the little bakery serves the whole island, and a few others too.

It's astonishing how the locals band together and use single services. I rather like it.

Technically Scilly is part of the Cornwall district, so I couldn't not have an authentic Cornish pasty.

Not a bad day for a picnic eh?

Heading back onto the road after a re-fuel, I just had to stop and photograph the post office and only store on the island. It's barely more than a shed. It still astounds me.

The island stretches for miles with little civilized life to spoil the views.

Seriously though, this could really be some far flung destination couldn't it?

White, pure beaches and palm trees. St Martin's did feel more like some Mediterranean escape than a island 15 minutes from England.

Now that could be Italy or Spain.

Arriving at the pier, it was time to hop on the bat back to St Mary's and catch my flight home.

I just can not believe how beautiful, magical and serene Scilly really is. It blew all my expectations clean out of the water.

It's crazy to think how tropical and unique the landscape is here and yet so close to home. Scilly is just wonderful and I encourage you all to go. You'll really be taken by surprise.
