I like to dress in midi-maxi dresses and always take a shawl or cardigan with me especially if I plan to visit a mosque or temple.
You've got me missing wearing a sari though, that's for sure

Tamsyn Elizabeth | Peaches and Bearpeachesandbearhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02329512542552436272noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2663569051766736352.post-37206938500353275372017-04-21T13:47:38.733+01:002017-04-21T13:47:38.733+01:00I completely disagree with the advice on modesty -...I completely disagree with the advice on modesty - very disrespectful to Indian culture to show your stomach, shoulders, cleavage or knees. Also, as someone who traveled the country as a solo woman - you will invite a lot of unwanted attention and potentially find yourself in some very uncomfortable (perhaps dangerous) situations if you don't dress modestly. It's just down to respect and common sense - I really think you should revise your advice here as your readers could put themselves in danger if they think it is ok to wear a croptop in India. It's the most amazing place in the world, but they don't share Western views of women's bodies and physical freedoms - it's not wrong, just different - and must be respected.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2663569051766736352.post-38409223704364422142017-04-20T13:39:37.673+01:002017-04-20T13:39:37.673+01:00Love the diversity of the country and this is such...Love the diversity of the country and this is such a good blog post.
