Life's a funny old thing isn't it?
I know, a rather deep statement for a Monday morning. But its something that's been spinning round my head for the last weeks or so. Work, housing, its all been going a little topsy turvy and so it feels like I've been questioning alot of things in my life.
What great conclusions did I draw from this philosophical moment I had with my duvet and a episode of Corrie?
It's all in the detail. That means the little things matter. Someone a work standing up for you, a friend coming out of work to see you it goes a bit wrong- all the little things that make me really smile.
So I threw together those pieces that make me really smile and headed out to into the city that I love.
Beautiful cuffs fit for an Aztec princess.
My favourite necklace to give me a boost of confidence.
Rough tough biker boots- possibly the comfiest pair you will ever buy.
Cardigan- Zara
Top- ASOS
Necklace- Azuni
Belt- Topshop
Cuff- Azuni
Boots- Shoe Zone
Skirt- Topshop
Do anything that makes you smile this Monday and remember its the little things that make the biggest impact.

Thanks for this post. I'm having a bit of a blue period at the moment (insane end of holiday blues) and you're right, it's the little things that make all the difference x

The bracelet is absolutely gorgeous, Laura! I feel like it's what would be born if Gustav Klimt and Game of Thrones Daenerys Targaryen collaborated on a piece of jewellery!
ReplyDeleteAlso, hope things are a little less topsy turvy and that you're back to happiness and yummy restaurants times!

I am absolutely in love with your hair! Just beautiful. Really great post and you are so right, it really is all in the detail, and those details are what you will look back and remember the most. It is so important to be kind to others, and I think this post really reiterates that.
