On Saturday the sun started to shine. Like vulture to a carcass, we Londoners flood outside. To the parks, the bars, anywhere we can soak up some vitamin D.
Yet, not all of London is this glamorous, selfie with Pimms in hand, view. London has many areas that are not so Sex in the City. Alot of London can be quite run down, a little rough around the edges and shock horror, like any other city.
Yet while my Saturday involved summer in the inner city, it doesn't mean you cant still look the part of the Pimms pack.

A kimono is perfect for that cool summer breeze, and paired with some statement trousers, you can pretend Hackney is Hyde Park... even if that Pimms is actually from the supermarket and not the local gastro- pub.
And of course, those selfies always have out-takes.

So true about the rough around the edge parts! It's amazing how many bloggers completely ignore the edgier side of London in favour of the tourist hotspots. Good to have a mix, I think. Kimono looks comfy and I am head-over-heels in love with those shoesies!
