Fashion week was a misty shadow for me. Snatchs of magazine
pictures and Twitter chat. I do love dressing, styling and genuinely wearing
clothes, however I’m not in the business and don’t pretend to be. I’m not a
waif size or know anything about clothing patterns or technical styling so I
decided to stay far away from Somerset House. However when an email landed in
my inbox asking if I’d like to take part in a photo shoot, well, I just couldn’t
say no.
Ollie from Four 3 One photography takes the most amazing
landscape and object photos, however he wanted to expand his people portfolio,
I want to expand my personal style section of this blog, and so on a wet and
windy Saturday afternoon, I found myself posing in front of multiple cameras
with a light reflector being held up to the side of me.

With the wind and rain battering down on a weekly basis, it’s
truly autumn season. Yet is it just me that finds one minute its cold and the
next it’s bright and muggy. Let’s be honest, big coats are a pain the arse
right now.
So all hail the jacket.

Thick, yet quite light, I’ve found the all round winning
jacket. Dress it up with a pencil skirt or throw on with a pair of ripped
jeans. The tweed detail is exquisite and with subtle tailoring, its flattering on all shapes. If I was at fashion week, this would be perfect for one of those jacket over the shoulder moments. And to help you keep up with the fash pack, its from an amazing website called Repertoire which has designer clothes at sale prices. Shhh I won't tell.

Rain, naturally curly hair and trying to grow out old layers. Winning combination.

I may not be exactly be model material or know how to pose like a pro, but I do know how to pick a jacket like a pro.

I love the outfit, so stylish, especially the shoes!
