There are so many hidden gem events on in London, away from the typical usual stuff, so I thought I needed to share a few of these with you to make your upcoming April just that bit more fun.

If you don't know it already, Self Portrait is a label you need to know. They make the most incredible pieces. Ever.

They really are quite simply stunning. I don't really care about labels, and am very happy to shop from anywhere so long as I like the item and I think it's decent quality. However, this is one label I have been fawning over so much.

Everything is elegantly made of embroidered lace and has exquisite detail. I want to just hand over my credit card and say "I'll have it all!"

Easter is here. Hurrah. A time of long weekends, chocolate and the Sunday Roast. However if you find yourself a little too old for Easter hunts, fluffy bunnies and chicks, then I have the perfect saviour. Easter Cocktails. Some of these have enough alcohol to make the Easter Bunny's tail curl. Enjoy.

Easter is fast approaching again. A time of feasts, roasts and chocolate treats. Really what’s not to love?

If you are looking to impress your family or friends this Easter, don’t fall fowl to shop bought treats. They are NEVER as good as homemade. But yes, I get it, time is precious. So I’ve got the perfect show stopping cupcake recipe for you, and it doesn’t take all day to make. I’ve teamed up with Dr. Oetker, the baking ingredient masters, to show you how to make these cute bunny bum cupcakes, that will bring a smile to your face and not to mention happy tummies.

My own personal style seems to have shifted quite frequently, as I've noticed it getting more lady like, probably because most of my day I'm at work wearing knee length skirts and blouses, and it's too much effort to take a change of clothes with me if I want to go out afterwards.

However there are those times when I want to add a bit of edge. Toughen things up. And for that, you really can't go wrong with leather.

On Monday night I got to tick one thing off my bucket list. Something that made me feel all happy inside and also really appreciate what blogging has allowed me to do.

Alot of blogger specific events are now during the day, however for us non full time bloggers, this isn't an option. Usually I have to turn down and that's the end of that. The Balvenie were having a blogger event for their new YouTube film series called The Craftsmen's Dinner, I of course said no, however this time I got a little mail back asking, well if I can't make that, would I like to come to the Press launch at Roux at Parliament Square.. The National Press and you know, me.

Oh and I got an interview slot with Michel Roux Jr. Bucket list, big tick.
Electro Brunch at Gaucho London

Brunch is my favourite meal of the day. I genuinely get excited at the prospect of having brunch at the weekend. I think it's the idea of mixing pancakes and alcohol together that really speaks to me.

So always on the look out for a new brunch place, I was excited to hear that Gaucho, possibly the UK's most popular upmarket steak restaurant's, had started a Saturday brunch.

Oh and it's bottomless food and drink. If that's not a hook, I don't know what is.

I'm not a natural born chef. I'm a natural born eater that's for sure, but when it comes to cooking, it's just not in my nature to start to whip up something from scratch.

I'd love to say it's because I don't have enough time, but lets get real here, its really because I'm too lazy.

I really do want to kick my bad habits of takeout and quick packet foods, so when I heard about Mindful Chef, the wholesome delivery service that sends you 4 meals worth of food, already weighed out, just ready for you to bung in a pan, I thought I really had no excuse this time.

Do you ever go on holiday, are amazed at the breath taking beauty of the place, you are having the best time ever, running along the sand, ducking in and out of cute bakeries and want to capture the moment? You take a bunch of snaps, but when you get home, they are well... typical holiday photos, selfies, and flat and lifeless.

Well I discovered this cool company that solves that issue. They connect you with a local photographer in pretty much most countries around the world to take quality travel photos, capturing the moments you had.
