A Star Is Born

Ladies and Gentleman, I present to you the jacket of the year.

I spied this jacket over on The Londoner's Instagram a few weeks ago (seriously fashion bloggers inspire me so much, you guys rock. Even if my bank balance may hate you) and fell deeply in love with it. I naturally presumed it was designer costing thousands, and yet it is far from it.

It's by a little brand called A Star Is Born from ASOS.

The sheer weight of it is incredible. It's super heavy (but not unwearable) because it's completely adorned with beads, sequins and stitching. The beading is so intricate and fine, that it has the look of something worth a thousand times what it cost.

I've had one very stylish man ask me if it was Valentino, I had a beauty editor ask me if it was Vintage and a dozen others coo over it. It certainly turns heads.

Pop it over a plain ensemble a la moi and you have a simple yet stylish get up. But throw it over a gorgeous dress and you will be the belle of the ball.

I must have worn it 10 times over the last 2 weeks, you can't part me from it, so cost per wear is seriously low.

I love finding pieces that other bloggers have recommended, and so now I'm passing that onto you. I feel like I want to sing The Circle Of Life right now.
